As far as I remember you can check out the usual Mother's Music and Long and McQuade. There is an independent worth checking out called Keen Kraft. I used to like them quite a bit.

There is no more Keen Kraft in Alberta any longer, Keen Kraft was bought up by Long & McQuade years ago....There are lots of shops in Calgary to choose from:

AXE Music - Dingwall, ESP, Fender, Spector, Peavey, Ibanez, Schecter, PRS

Guitarworks (3 Stores in Calgary, the best being on 16 AVE NE ) - LOTS of Fender,Gibson, Peavey, Ibanez, Mesa Boogie, and they even had a couple of Warrior basses a while ago

Long & McQuade - Warwick, Fender, Modulus, Gibson, Music Man, Mesa Boogie, Ibanez

    Mother's Music - G&L, Yamaha, Ibanez, Schecter

    Hope this helps..........
