I'mk not one for racing/car games really, but that game is so much fun, one of the best I've played in a while for sheer silliness. Its fun to play in a group too!

It won't take the crown from Final Fantasy though :ninja:

i rented Chaos Theory and GT 4 last night.... they were OK....i thought Chaos Theory was a little hard to control, but then i'm new to this stuff....

GT 4 was cool....but i need to get a mem. card....

i wanted to get a boxing game so i can legally beat the $*** out of my wife (and be morally sound), but couldn't find it at the rental place... :D
i'm sure she wouldn't mind pulling a 5 gallon of whoop arse on me...

the only problem is that my dog doesn't have thumbs, so i can't find a suitable controller for him...he's getting jealous....

Gran Turismo 4- About as real as a game can get. Hard
Midnight Club (X-Box)... I love this game. Stupid easy-like me.
Gran Turismo 3/a Spec... best racing game ever!
Red Dead Revolver... Almost a really good game. Just missed.
Tekken(s)... You've got to try a Tekken! You either love it or ignore it.

If you want to be a real gamer how about getting Socom 2, and going online (if you have broadband) Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition is great, so is burnout 3. For a good shooter get Red Faction, Red Faction 2, or Timesplitters 3 (or all 3) For a boxing game, go with fight night, the new one. There are a lot of good games out there, but my favorite is Socom 2 when you play it online. Talking to your teammates and taunting your enemies is great fun!

I played SA for about an hour last night... yes there are engine and texture improvements over the earlier games.

I'm becoming an old fart... I grew up on Mobster movies and Miami Vice. GTA 3 and VC are better games to me. The whole rap/gangsta thing doesn't appeal to me at all. Yeah the R&B station plays some good tunes... as does the hair metal station :bassist:

Tekkens are good fun for fighting - I just got Tekken 5.

and the Soul Calibur games are excellent :)

Chaos Theory has very intuitive controls so its probably just you being new at it. You can also try Metal Gear Solid series. Start at the first one and make your way to the 3rd one. Excellent series with a storyline better than most movies.

I can agree - the MG storylines are great. If very surreal and confusing at times!

The best game to get for people who don't like/aren't
familiar w/ video games is "Katamari Damacy" for the
PS2 -Its a weird very-Japanese game which boils down to
rolling a ball over a virtual Lego-land and trying to make
a giant ball as every thing you run over sticks to it-
Its cheap (20 bucks new) and easy and addictive-
Many girls I know who've claimed to hate video games
love this game-
