Hey guys, what Mike had sent me was actually a link to the diagram on the Bartolini website: Invalid Link Removed
The Bartolinis pickups and pre in the ZX are specifically designed for the ZX and you can't buy it over the counter anywhere, but Mike sez that this diagram is the same deal, the mid switch is pretty much the only different (push pull on the ZX model as opposed to the 3 position toggle switch + level knob pictured there.)
I did have this done to my Z5 as well. Mike cautioned that it's a different set of electronics and he couldn't guarantee that a capacitor wouldn't blow somewhere, but I haven't had any issues, and Freebass who did the work for me had done this to his Z5 too and had no problems either.
Take a look and see guys, may be worth the battery clip and extra wiring!
