Hey Jimmy...question for you....I decided to go bigger cab to match my V4bh 100w head.....So, here's my 2 choices without hearing them though. ..buying through AMS on 8 pay deal....810e. 610 or 410HLF....which one really brings out best in this head?

PS weight is not an issue on any cabs...This is for garage band fun
Thx
John

I'm no JimmyM, but the 810e will sound more "traditional" and IMO match best with that head. The 610 and 410 will not only be quieter based on less speaker area, but will be harder to hear because they are more scooped and aren't as close to your ears.
The V4B was made for a cool vintage, grindy vibe. I think the 810e will complement that in the best way possible.

If those are your only three options, I would go with the 810e, 11 out of 10 times.

And no I am not a JimmyM, but I play one on TV. :D

No.

:D

Anyway, yeah, they're right...give me the choice and I pick the 810e every time. Heritage if you can swing it. The 610hlf and 410hlf are good cabs but they go too low for my tastes. Not saying they won't work, but you did ask me what I would get.

It's not a giant difference, but there is some. The Heritage sounds a lot more like the old first edition flatback SVT 810's with the CTS alnico speakers, whereas the regular models are very good sounding cabs but not quite in that league.
