I'm going to try and duplicate the scratchplate but I need a bit of info from those of you who have one.

Is the pickguard CLEAR or BLACK ?

Hard to tell from pics but I have read the designs are ''UNDER'' the plate, that would make it clear.

Also are the designs GROOVED-IN or just PAINTED-ON ?

Is the Mother of Pearl real or just the STICK-ON SHEET variety ?

Basically, any info, guidance or pics will be appreciated.

Once my project is on the way I'll post a thread for the resto job.
