Clean bass, with fuzzed guitar doubling the bass line during the intro and that one break. Try an Akai Unibass and send the effected out through a fuzz, then blend the clean bass with the fuzzed Unibass. I can kind of hear that subtle octaver abark mentioned in the breakdown toward the end.

Really that last bit could be anything. A punch-in, a different eq, stronger attack, studio magic, etc.
