Can a bass head work OK for keyboards?

I brought my Carvin combo to a friend's house and he ran his keys thru it, sounded great.

The same guy bought my old GK combo, a 700RB/115, and the keys rip thru it, so do his electronic drums.

Yep.
I use my SWR Headlite through an EV 15" driver as an amp for my Moog Taurus 3. Works fine as a stage monitor, & the direct out to the PA handles the brunt of the load.

I often use a bass rig in my keyboard synth rig. If I'm using amps for stereo, a Roland KC350 is one side, Mesa M3 Carbine and Aggie DB112nt is the other. Sounds massive, and quite clean. Synths go to a mixer first, then some stereo fx, and out to the 2 amps.

the biggest problem with using bass (or even guitar) amps is the lack of frequency range. yes a bass amp will give you the lower frequencies, but neither of these will give you good high frequencies. and bass tweeters sound really bad imho.
