Can anyone identify the effect?

If anyone here has the Primus DVD Hallucinogenetics can they help me identify an effect that Les uses? Halfway through the song Harold of the Rocks, Les has a little solo break down thing. The closest comparison that i can make is that it sounds like an "underwater" type effect. if anyone has any info that would be awesome.

I haven't seen the DVD, but judging by "Underwater" I would suggest an Envelope filter. It's basically an automatic wah pedal that applies the amount of "wah" judging by how hard you play. It's the opening and closing of the wah sound that makes it sound bubbly and underwatery.

Another pedal could be -if I'm not mistaken- the "Wobulator", but I ignore the name of the maker. It's more commonly used with guitar though, so I don't know how it would sound on bass. Do a search on any engine and something will pop up.
