Can Helix or Eventide do the Boss OC 2/3?

Specific question is whether anyone familiar with one of those fx platforms knows
if i can assign a crossover...the Boss can let choose a lower frequency (low strings)
to get the octaver effect and the upper strings can remain w/o the effect for solo or whatever.

Thx in advance for any such info.

Check out Zack Rizer's excellent review about analog vs digital octavers.

Edit: Sorry, just read your question again and I don’t think I saw the answer of that in the video. Lesson learned, I will drink up my coffee and wake up before I post a reply here.

I'm not sure about the crossover part of the question, but those digital octave fx would sound much closer (but still not the same) as the OC-2 with some heavy EQ/low passing after them and even closer if you can get your bass to be more of a square wave (clipped, rectified via a fuzz or distortion pedal) before the digital effect. But that's probably too much effort when you can just get an OC-2 or similar.
