Can I use any case to hold my epiphone SG?

I have bought an epiphone SG on eBay but I'm wondering if I need to by an epiphone specialized case, or can I just buy a substitute case that is the same size as my guitar. I have a padded case now for my schecter diamond series but it may not be big enough...any suggestions. Not keen of importing a case for $150

an epiphone sg will probablyy fit into any case that holds a standard 34' scale bass.

I know that many Epiphone guitars require special cases because they usually have elongated headstocks, but looking at the SG bass, it seems to have a normal-sized headstock.
When I need a case, I always bring the instrument with me to see how it fits. I wouldn't order a case sight unseen otherwise (unless it was built specifically for that model).
