Can someone here help me out with a cabinet/pre-amp connection question?

I need some help on this one. My band has just got a new bass cabinet and I was wondering how to connect my bass to it.

I have a Line 6 BassPOD and so I was wondering whether I could use this in place of the pre-amp?

Help...! I'm a bass cabinet newbie

First connect your bass

to your bass pod in

then from bass pod out to your amplifier in

then from your amplifier out to your bass cabinet
