Can we have a Band Name Thread?

I disagree. I was keeping up with for a while, and there were some good ones. But yes, there were also many contributions by posters who think that anything below the belt is funny.I imagine that there wasn't a single serious usable name in that thread either.
First time in this thread, so apologies if I'm missing the point...but I just have to vent.
One of the bands I'm in has been together for two years (!!) without ever having chosen a name. :angryface:
But knowing that one day we'd actually need a name, I've been collecting a list of potential names, just waiting for the day when we'll need some options to select from.
That day is now. Great, methinks, my list has grown to almost 75 potential band names, we'll just have to weed out the crappy ones, narrow it down, vote, badda-boom/badda-bing, Bob's yer uncle. All I gotta do before springing this list of ~75 names on the gang is double-check that none of the names was previously (or currently) used by another band. 'Cuz, y'know, having the same name as some other band, no matter where they are or when they were...that's just weaksauce. Gotta be unique.
So I spent this afternoon running all ~75 candidates through Google's AI, basically searching for "a band called xxxxx" [where xxxxx = whatever the potential band name was].
If you ever want to be completely demoralized and feel like you have no creative instincts whatsoever, run your list of "brilliant" band names that you thought up through Google AI's search algorithm.
My list is now down to ~25 names...none of which are my favorites.
