Can you ID this early 80's bass?

The gentleman in the clip is bassist/singer/songwriter Jerry Knight.
Jerry started as the bass player and vocalist in Ray Parker, Jr.'s late 70's band Raydio.
He went solo and scored this hit in 1980.
Jerry found his biggest success as a songwriter. One of the songs he's known for is Crush On You by 80's band The Jets.

Back to the bass, I mentioned that this was 1980.
To me, the bass looks T-40-ish, but the headstock is giving me Gibson vibes.
I actually like the look of it and I wonder how it sounds since they're just miming to the record in this clip.
Any of you know what it is?
