Not the toes, there's a chip out of the top on the lower right bout.

Magnifying the pic, on the right of the pic, just inside the top table to the left of the toes, it does look like either de-lam or some sort of patch...

I had thought that hybrid meant a solid, usually carved top with ply ribs and back... Do I have that backwards?

No, but it does look like delamination on the top and carved wood inside...

Hmmm, nice pics... It looks like this bass has been out on the road for a while.

From the grain pattern around this patch on the top, it looks like there was once a knot there.

Is this a solid carved top double bass?

But where are the toes?

I'm certainly not an expert, but this might be a new bass that someone 'aged'. I don't see much honest playing wear. The label and age (2011) could be totally legit...

I really don't know anything more then that it plays good‍
It has been in Finland for a while now and got thorough Cleaning/" oil treatment" last week
So it still has that nice shine
I might visit the luthier later and get some more info but I'm not in a hurry

The thing on the lower bout looks to me like a crappy repair on a solid top.
