Canada: We're Finally Getting Our Own Strings! -- NorthTone

Found out about NorthTone Strings on Instagram -- Canada's first string company. No products yet, but on Insta they said they were going to make bass strings as well!
Chatted with them after a gig a few months ago (they're based in my city) and they plan to start with guitar strings. But I've volunteered to try out their bass strings when they're in the testing stage. 🤞

I'm hoping that they knock it out of the park and that one or more of Dingwall, Godin, and Fbass partner with them.

Neat! And based out of my hometown 🤩 They'd better have some pure nickel strings on offer at some point. Joined the mailing list, gave 'em a follow on insta, and I'm keen to see how the company develops. I've been playing my electric geetars more lately, so when strings become available, I'll get my hands on a set.
I wonder if they’re gonna specialize in nickel-wound?

I wish them all the success. I love Canada, and if I had not been born in the South and get fairly crazy when confronted with real snow, I don't know if I wouldn't have emigrated. It's a civilized country.
You might look into the Vancouver and Victoria areas. We don't get snow like the rest of Canada.
Of course it's absolute chaos when it does snow...
