Help?

I play in a melodic metal band. We tune B-F#-B-E-A(I play a Schecter AB-5)

Right now I use a Fender Bassman 300 through a crappy Peavey 810TVX that only handles 400 watts! The only tone I can get out of the Peavey is garbage.

I want 2 cabs that will sound the best for me. I kinda want to get stereo 2x15's but that's just me. I think it looks sweet plus they have lots of bottom end but I don't know about the upper register

I think you need to determine the sound you are after. A 410 cabinets delivers sound in a way that is very different from say a 215 cab. Do you want stronger punchier mids, or deep down thundering lows? Go out to some clubs and see what players are using that you like. IMO a 212 cab is a great do all cabinet, but for metal you can't go wrong with an Ampeg 810 or a Berg NV610.

The only cab you need to look into is a Basson 8x10. It will put out any sound you want and will be able to handle that B string of yours with EASE! I play in a melodic metalcore band and no other cabinets sound as good as my Basson. AMPEG is probably one of the worst routes you could go IMO. The ampeg's just tend to break up and sound really bad if you put too much lows to them and any decent amount of power. Give Shawn Green at Basson a call and let him tell you why the cabinets would be a perfect fit for your style of music. You can also go to their website. www.bassonsound.com
