I've got a '95 4Runner with about 190,000 miles on it. She's running a little rough now, but still running. She needs a tune up and gasket change. Leaks about 1/2 qt of oil per tank of gas. It's now the fallback vehicle, spends most of the time parked. But, I don't ever plan on getting rid of it. Every oil change I dump 1/2 qt of mineral spirits in the crankcase and idle it for 5-10 minutes. It flushes the oil, thins the oil, and the oil I get on my hands wipes clean. Love working on my truck. My wife's idea of a vacation is spending a week on a tropical beach, even though we live in Va Beach, a block from the beach. My perfect vacation is spending a week working on my truck.

That's a HUGE part of why i'm looking forward to this winter so much. i'm going to be spending most of it with my car ripped apart, rebuilding it with a much more powerful engine, and all wheel drive
