I couldn’t dig up any reference to this technique here so I thought I’d start a thread on it.

A fantastic method book, “ Creative Technique” by Henry Portnoi describes the carried bow and so much more. This book is amazing as it gives such a clear description of Portnoi’s playing and thinking.
