Carvin 4x10

i have 2 friends who have had a 410 for 5 years or so and gigg them 4-8 times a month and love em . they also have convinced me to buy my first carvin rig which is a bx1200 a 10.4 neo cab , wireless . i will pair it up with another 210 until i get my 10.2 neo in .....

ok, I'm not sure how much these are brand new but my local craigslist has one for $200. Is this a good deal?

Also, the cab can handle up to 600 watts - would anything less than this limit its functionality or anything? (sorry, new to cabs and heads) I'm gonna need a cheaper head and was planning on trading maybe my Peavey Fury IV bass for the cab so I'd have enough for a head, too.
Sorry if this is sort of muddled, I'm tired and not thinking too clearly.

the newer br410 8 ohms rated at 800 watts sells new for 319.99 plus shipping . the older style and less rated rl410 may not be a steal at 200 but may be ok if it hasnt been abused .... which is the problem with used gear ... esp when you never know the actual history of the piece .....
