Carvin Amplifiers and Audio

Either you learn how to fix (or destroy) it yourself or you find a qualified service center. There's no conspiracy

I'd trust this guy before I sent a DAP to Onkyo

Onkyo and Carvin... I have both and both are great pieces of equipment. Both are in mint condition.
Onkyo TX-4500 MKII stereo receiver from late 70's. Rated at 65 watts per channel RMS but seems way more powerful. Can drive 3 sets of speakers (A, B, C, A+B, or A+C).
Carvin BX1200 - 1200 watts @ 4 ohms bridged or 2 x 400 watts (4 ohms each) in bi-amp or dual mono mode. Nothing like it.

You'll never get anything nice like that again from Onk.

I've got Pioneer's super mega 9.2, 4K, Atmos, Elite receiver and its so lightweight, you can swing it around by the power cord.

I got it free because there is a nag screen that pops up every few powerups (wanting to connect to google) and the guy that bought it has a projector; so when his wife just wants to turn it on and listen to music, it sits there stalled.

I disconnected it from my Cat6 network, so it quit trying to call the mothership, but of course that means that I can only use Spotify through bluetooth, and not directly through the receiver. So dumb.

I'm driving a pair of old JBL's and AR's with it. So loud and full, like a concert.
