I owned (1) carvin amp.. It was (1) too many.... nothin' but problems.... Go w/ the MarkBass...especially since the track record jams.. Definately in the running to be my next amp.

I have both the BX500 and the Markbass and I dig the h*ll out both of them. I run my 12" cabs with either one. If I had to make a chose I would go with the BX500 because of it different EQ setting.

I just got a LMIII and havent used it yet. I did a club date tonight with The bx500 and Brxneo 2.10 w my Lakland 5501 and it sounded AWESOME. No problems yet and the parametric eq is handy.

I was not impressed with my schroeders but i must admit that i have recieved compliments on how they sound.My complaint with mine was( and i have 2--21012 light cabs 1very slightly used and 1 brand new),they just did not seem to be built well,they both wobbled(couldnt stack them cause 1 wobbled on ground and the other wobbled on the other),took off the grill and the cuts where the speakers fit in were cut crooked and the wood looked like scrap laminate wood,when i play at moderate levels the cab literally vibrates and moves from original position and my lmiii vibrates off the cab(i remedied this with velcro).luckily I got a deal on them($300.00 bucks apiece) so i can live with that. if i had payed the $1100.00 they sell them for i would have been very unhappy.I do gig them and they have grown on me a bit but i wouldnt buy them again. but to each their own.

I bought my 1st Schroeder (1210R) directly from Jorg back in 2004 when he first began making his cabinets. That cabinet was as solid as could be... lot's of screws, caulking all around the inside. About two years later I bought a 1212R used from another TB forum member. I believe his was made in mid to late 2005 (still handmade by Jorg himself). Again this cabinet had a solid build, but did not have the overabundance of screws and caulking that my 1210 had. My guess is that as Jorg's business grew and he started outsourcing the manufacturing of his cabinets, some Q/A has taken a bit of a hit as a result.
