I saw 2 up on reverb..Hi does anyone have or know where I could get a carvin bx 500 head
That looks like a good deal. Hope you can arrange it.That's the very one bud. I have messaged him to see if he's willing to ship to the u.k
Many thanks yer a star.
Neil
There's no doubt the BX500 is a great sounding and powerful head. With everything set flat (straight up) it's very clear, which turns some people off, but once you dig into that versatile EQ section the magic happens.Just looking for a decent sound bud.
Heard one of these when abroad recently and it sounded like what I've been looking for .
I play through an ashdown mag 300 and have never been happy with it .
Bought a darkglass microtubes b7k in the hope that would help fatten my sound out but naw it disnae
We are just warning you that Carvin has washed its self from all their amps even if it is only two years old, so getting service or parts even in the US, heck even in the State they were made in is pretty much impossible.Just looking for a decent sound bud.

If you want a fat bottomed girl, check out a used Genz Benz. Still serviced. Just post what you find so we can verify.Just looking for a decent sound bud.

This is good to know. I got mine for not much money as they were selling off before they ditched the amp line. I suppose when it breaks I'll have to consider whether to have it fixed or not. I already had one GK MB200 go bad, and it wasn't worth having it fixed. We are just warning you that Carvin has washed its self from all their amps even if it is only two years old, so getting service or parts even in the US, heck even in the State they were made in is pretty much impossible.
Shops won't touch them.
Good luck and we wish you the best.
