Here's my stack. They're not Bag Ends, but they sound really good ... sorry for the crappy cameraphone pic ...

It's not about Bag Ends liam_g, it's about your BX500 and what you enjoy playing it thru. Love the 15's.![]()
Hey WildWes,
Yeah the BX500 is tops. These are 12s by the way, the Carvin 112AG cabs. I do love me some 15s though!
Cheers,
Liam
I've been really happy with my bx500 over the last year or so. I finally purchased a bx1500 due to arrive on Friday. Not because I need the extra power, I rarely need PA support with the bx500 and 15/6, but I love having gobs of spare headroom. I've been wanting to play with bi-amping, and the extra semi-parametric will be nice too. Can't wait.
What tone character does the amp have when the tone controls are set flat? Vintage, dry, bright and poppy, full, transparent? What amp has a similar sound...I am thinking Hartke?

liam_g said:Sure, I'll use the eq if needed. I'm not saying not to use the eq. I'm saying it sounds good set flat. There's a difference.
