OH, FYI though.... I had an older LB76 fretless with the jazz pickups, and the bridge pickup didn't pick up the B string too well; string was right on the edge of the magnet.

Thanks DJ Bebop. Mine has the H11B pickups replaced with Seymour Duncans
The guy selling it said he couldn't get the wiring right. It appears the toggle switch (in museum pic) was replaced with another knob (blend?) The electronics cover and truss rod cover is missing.
Unfortunately, there's also this crack in the head by the E tuner

I just picked up a lined >2000 Carvin LB76F (6-String Fretless) The bass is amazing! I'm not sure I'm cut out to be a "Fretless Guy" though. I love playig the bass, but when I took it to practice I could tell I wasn't hitting the lines. Often!

My AC40F is my favorite bass. It's great as a fretless, but the weight and shape of it is just so comfortable in my hands. I'd get a fretted version if I had the dough.
