I'm trying to move all my 24 fret basses. Here's a start, all my gear is in great shape.
$500 firm, you will pay shipping. I'm cannot keep losing upwards of $80 on each bass I sell. Questions, conversation, offers in a PRIVATE MESSAGE PLEASE.
This is a SICK deal. Thx for looking
The gentleman who I bought this from priced out building this on Kiesel's, (aka Carvin), site. To build this now with the options it has, (Hipshot piezo bridge, 5-piece neck, walnut, etc), it would cost you over $2k. They apparently don't offer the Hipshot piezo bridge option anymore (at least it's not an option on the website build app), but this bass has it!
This has the active/passive 3-band EQ (with mid-frequency sweep) and piezo blend (see picture). Push/pull volume knob is for active/passive.
This also has some cool wood options including walnut body and the 5-piece neck options.
Here is the full build sheet/list for this particular bass:
****************************************************
IC4SP 4S P-BASS (P is for the Hipshot piezo bridge option)
B JET BLACK
CS CLEAR SATIN MATT FINISH
WAL MAPLE NECK & WALNUT BODY
5WM 5-PC WALNUT W/MAPLE STRIPE
PSN PAINTED SATIN BACK OF NECK
MPS WHITE MOTHER of PEARL SIG INLAYS
BC BLACK CHROME PLATED HARDWARE
RH2 RADH HUMBUCKING PICKUPS
BL BLACK CARVIN LOGO
SL STRAPLOCKS BY DUNLOP INSTALLED
HS HIPSHOT BASS DETUNER INSTALLED
HC8 G&G HARDSHELL BASS CASE, BLACK
****************************************
Functionally, the bass is awesome! Just received a full-pro setup. Nice, low action! Fast neck. All controls function as they should (no scratchy pots, etc).
Bass is in 8 out of 10 cosmetic condition (matte-satin finishes are a bit more fragile than poly). It has some buckle rash on the back and some spots on the body that have some shine do to player wear.
After I got it, the Bridge saddles and all the screws have had the wear and surface rust restored with light sanding and black guitar paint from Stew-mac. Looks really clean, set-up nice and ready to go.
Bass weighs 9.5 lbs according to my bathroom scale. Carvin hard case has some scuffing and wear but nothing major. The center latch isn't functional (but the two outer latches keep it securely closed).
Offer up your trades. Can and will add cash for the right deal. More pics to follow but here is a taste...
