Carvin LB 50 fretless

Can anyone tell me if a mid 80´s Carvin LB 50 fretless has any form for position markers on the fretboard (Ebony)- I cant see any on the photos. Thought I might give fretless a try , but feel I might need some referance points . Thanks

Mine has side dots - the octave is marked by 3 dots rather than 2, side by side, with the middle one being exactly on the "spot" (at least, that's how I intonate mine).

Thanks , the photo I have is strait from the front. May I ask if it is a good bass ? It looks nice , it has emgs + 2 9v batterys , but the original PU s come with it.

I have an LB-40 and an LB-50 fretless, both great basses, in my opinion.
