Carvin LB-70 Swamp Ash price ??

Here's a Koa LB75 on flea bay at $450 BIN plus shipping.

Seems you were right on the money.

That may not be the best comparison. That EBay guy is engaging in aspirational pricing based on the description. That bass may or may not be firewood - and he's expecting the buyer to roll the dice.

This one plays but has some bow in the neck. THE TRUSS ROD TURNS BUT IT WILL NOT REMOVE THE BOW. The neck will need repair. I am guessing a heat set on the neck might cure the problem, but because I am not sure, I am selling this one "AS IS" with "NO RETURNS".

Yea I saw those ebayers but it looked like they were listed as "not working. For parts only" i called Carvin and its a Swamp Ash body,Ebony board. I also dont really like the flat edges of those pictured. I kinda dig the rounded edges. Im thinking I gotta pretty good deal at 500. Bass in in excellent! condition. And boy does it play like a dream! As far as wood and specs go its very close to the Fodera Monarch I'm having built. Of course its not that quality... But the next best thing I feel. Coil tap,Active/Passive with the 3 band Active EQ.
