.I made the cut to match an original Carvin 5 piece neck. Clamping method to be revealed later. Not much of the original neck left on the nut end. How do you plan to clamp the neck when gluing parts together?
.Just make it a 2 string.Yeah but would only be 7/8” wide at the nut.
My backup plan if this didn’t work was to replace the whole neck but that would have been more work.

Yes given it was on an old Craftsman table saw it worked out well. That looks like it worked perfectly. The cut lines even give a bit of an impression of what the 5 piece will look like. Great work!
You don't know hat you've been missing!!!Almost a copy of my '98 LB70 (avatar photo). Although I've not abused mine.![]()

Looks like you forgot to add the dowel holes. Your "template" shows where they go.Home now so I used the center cut to set up the bandsaw and as a pattern to rough out the new center...

.Hi thanks. Yes I will be re-installing new rods and have them on order. That came out stellar!
And that appears to be a 110V tablesaw, making it that much more impressive.
Out of curiosity, will you be installing new carbon fiber rods?
