Case for a G&L Fallout SS Bass

It's NOT a perfect fit, but works and is readily available (I think?) - and this one is a "soft" case but certainly better than a gig bag. I've seen evidence that SKB makes a proper hard case with the same insides. This one is an SKB 1SKB-SC44. Also fits Fender style P and J basses, I think.

The Reverend Watt Bass Case did not work with my Fullerton Fallout. So your mileage may vary.

I don’t have the Fallout, but my Mustang fits perfectly in a gator cg-elec-xl baritone guitar case. I’m pretty both basses are almost the same overall length so it should work.

Thanks amigo, and I agree. I found it so beautiful that it caused me to pay x amount more for the Fullerton model since the Tribute version didn't offer that color.

From what I've read, even though the Fallout is essentially the G&L Mustang, it might be longer than one. The headstock is quite large. I think I'll get my Sweetwater rep to check for me.

Just got mine delivered from Sweetwater last week.

Based on what I have tried thus far, I can tell you what DOES NOT fit:
- Reverend Baritone TearDrop Case (from Wattplower, Dub King, Sentinel)
- Gator cg-elec-xl baritone guitar case (per Sweetwater reps, doesn't fit)

I went to my local shop today to try various full scale bass cases (Gator, Pro Rock, etc.)
The issue there is not overall case length. The length of the neck cradle inside the case is too long to allow the Fullerton to sit flush.

Still on the hunt!

Reviving the thread 4 months later to see if anyone other than Stranger Danger has successfully used the Epiphone Embassy Pro case for the Fallout. Right now it appears to be the best hard case option, but I'd have to order one.
Just for grins, I tried putting it in both my L-2000 and Musicman cases. Neither one will work.

FedEx delivered to my door this morning the Epiphone Embassy Pro case from Sweetwater.

And the answer is - Yes, it does fit. Thank you Stranger Danger.

It's as good a fit as two other cases I have that were supplied by the manufacturers to go with the basses they hold (G&L case for a '96 L-2000 and Reverend for their Sentinel). It's the way to go if you want a hard case for the Fallout.

Funny how a short scale bass fits into the hard case for a full scale. The Fallout is big-bodied, but what does that mean for the Epiphone Embassy? A compact full scale? :roflmao:

I've been using mine now for nearly 4 months and am quite pleased. I keep the Fallout Tribute at church as my on-stage bass there (3 services today plus a Christmas Eve rehearsal). It lives in the music team closet well protected.

Another confirmation on the Epiphone Embassy Bass hard case (940-EMBCS). Mine came in earlier today, got it on sale for about $75, and it fits 99% perfectly. Leaving that 1% out because the tuning peg for E is slightly in contact with the inner lining, but not resting or putting any pressure on it. The body lies completely flat, but there is a slight gap between the bottom of the upper neck and where it is supposed to rest on. Latches can close with ease.

In case anyone is wondering, the build quality is great, but I have seen better material for hard case out there. It will definitely outlive me for indoor storage use. Same goes to its side padding, there are hard cases with thicker foam. However, the bottom and top interior padding are sufficient. Overall, worth the money paid! Pictures for reference;
