Double Bass Case recommendations to fit old American Standard

As title suggests: I'm looking for a good recommendation for an old American Standard. My current bag is falling apart. Optimally, I'm looking for a bag that fits the bass pretty snug since my current bag is pretty loose. It's not quite the Jnco jeans of bags, but it's a late 90's fit for sure. Any and all recommendations are welcomed.

The house brand bags at Gollihur are nice and a good price. If you have the $$$, get a Messina; they are worth the price. Mooradian is still in business and is another great option.

Sorry - no specific rec for AS. Just that when I recently bought a new bag for my 7/8 (Tuff Bag), I measured my bass and wrote up a list of the measurements for all the decent quality bags. (I was surprised at how much they differed.) As I was belaboring my choice, I happened to pull the list out one eve at orch rehearsal. The bassist next to me started laughing, saying he wrote up a list exactly like I had when he bought his bag.

Hopefully someone with an AS will be able to give you a specific recommendation.

Pretty much non existent. I should clarify though that I bought the $90 ‘lightweight double bass cover/bag’ and it appears to no longer be sold by gollihur. Apologies if I’ve caused any confusion - I didn’t realize it was not readily available

What are the dimensions of your bass? I’m selling a Kolstein case for a small 3/4 size in the classifieds, I put pretty accurate dimensions in the description. If it fits your bass it’s a good deal, those bags are well padded and this one has barely been used. I recently bought a much smaller bass that came in it, so I just bought a Messina bag for my small bass. It’s very good but over three times the price. It’s not easy finding a bag for a 5/8 bass!

I also have a Mooradian bag for my 3/4 juzek that’s on the large side for that bass. I’d say the Kolstein bag is at least as well padded as the mooradian, maybe a little beefier.
