Cases for Class D amps?

I do think it's a bad part of the design of most small class-D amps that they don't have any sort of handle.
Makes it harder to carry them and makes people think of them more like pedals than amps, in terms of storage and transport.
I have a Demeter VTBP-M-800DJ and it has a handle on the top. If you have not seen one, they are kind of an odd size (13 x 9x 5.5 .. 10lbs) so, not quite Lunch Box dimensions .. actually kind of sized like the Orange Terror amps (maybe a bit bigger).

I use mine mostly locally, so I don't need an ATA/bombproof case like the Pelican or SKB's (which just make a small amp kind of large for my typical needs).
Based on another TB thread, I went with this Arriba AC130 case which seems to fit the Demeter just right.

I used a laptop bag for the first 6 months i owned my markbass lm3. Was indeed super small and lightweight. But i simply grew tired of spending 15 mi utes unpacking and making all the audio and electrical connections for comp, tuner, wirless, di out, speaker out, power to anp and the boxes. So i got the ears, mounted it in this spare rack i had, mounted a power strip and hooked up all the boxes, and their power transfomers, its all hooked up. Its all in the case, loose, but not really going anywhere. Now i simply take off the front/back covers, pull out tuner and set it on the floor, grab the di xlr out and toss it at the sound guy, plug in speaker cable, then grab the 1 power cable and plug it in. Done. About 1 minute. Now even my mic mechanic stays in there, pre- plugged in. I kindof pull out the comp pedal enough to see it and reach knobs but i rarley touch it.

I use an old laptop case. It's very well padded and it has sections to carry cables, extra strings, tuner, a couple of waters, a DI, etc.. And, since I already had it and wasn't using it anymore for a laptop, it was "free".

Also, since all my heads are small class D models, I can fit all of them except my D-800 into my gig bag pockets if I want to go extremely lightweight.
Yep. My MiniMega goes in a leftover rolling laptop bag with a second compartment that holds all cables and whatever. Must have 50 zippers. Has a pocket on the side for the kind of cell phone that preceded flip phones. Haven't figured out a use for that yet, but I know it'll be good for something.

How do you like The Trickfish .5K??
Had my first rehearsals with it this week. I love it. Great tone, really flexible, super responsive. I've had a ton of fun just running my different basses through it, hearing how they sounded. I love that I can go super thumpy p-bass with flatwounds to growly jazz bass to crisp modern with a Modulus. And it sounds great running my upright through it, too. I'm really impressed.
