Double Bass Cases for the Yamaha SLB-100?

I have an SLB-100 arriving on Wednesday, and I just discovered that this $3,700 bass doesn't come with a case of any kind. (!?) Further, the "optional" (lol) Yamaha BSC-1 soft case doesn't seem to be sold anywhere anymore, not even on backorder.

Has anyone found another case that works for it? Or, for cryin' out loud, a hardcase for this expensive thing? I happen to have an unused high-end rifle case that I'm not using, and it might be perfect.

The Yamaha web site says "it breaks down to fit in a convenient case." Are you buying it new or used?
It is clearly none of my business, but you can buy the newer SLB 300 for $3,700. Does the SLB 100 cost the same? I own the 300, purchased used for $3,000, and including a case.

If I'm remembering correctly, some URB players used golf-club flight cases. You might look in that direction. Or check with Gollihur. They sell Eminence, not Yamaha, but they might have something that would work.

Honestly, I got the 100 because I think it looks better. :-) I might end up getting a 300 as well and keeping the one I like best.

I've seen the reviews, that the 300's sound is great. Although there are complaints about the noise floor. So far, the 100 — I just got it and tried it out — is dead quiet.
