WELL - do we prefer CASES or gig bags? I could be wrong -- I have always used cases for my instruments. There have been times where they did 'absorb impact' the instruments were untouched.

Thread Drift: I still can't figure out how SKB gets away with referring to that shell as "ATA compliant" when its closure mechanism consists of an exposed fabric strap. Pretty sure that does not meet or exceed ATA Spec 300, Category 1.
