Too different to say and the age gap is too wide to compare.

Casey will sell records with a little polishing up. I liked his song choice for Idol and his presentation in general.

Noah has the same (stupid) first name as me but picked a great piece to play. Tore it up a little more than Casey, but Casey's piece wasn't about that.

Tough decision.

I felt like Noah was off tempo at a few parts, but he's a kid.

Casey nailed it, I think. When I was watching it, that is, the first thing that came into my mind when the song ended was: "He nailed it."

I'm going with Casey, but Noah's got a ton of potential. Either way it's great to see bassists get recognition.

Yes, he's a young kid and someone's got him dresssed in period clothing for the talent show but other than that, he's about the bass and the music. There's no grunting or carefully practiced expressions like in Casey's performance. I think if you compare Noah's effort with Blanton's original, he comes out pretty good. I don't know if he won but I guess his schoolmates know as much about Jazz as the American Idol judges and viewers at home.
