I was wondering when this thread would start.

I showed my coworker this meme, so he will probably have one of these on his FB page. I'll link it if he doesn't mind. I don't have any cats, myself.

Some people have huge faces and small cats, so it doesn't quite work.

Human and cat head ratio play a major part here, drawing the line between funny and lame. Anyway, most are funny.

I wonder if Super Glue would work. Of course, this would probably require shaving the top of the cat's head, which could be a hazardous task.

I was thinking elastic string, like they use for those plastic masks. Duct tape would definitely be more secure.

You should start a metal thread in Misc. At least 50% of the posts are people dropping in to say they don't like it and why. It's a tradition.
