Cedar Point

Hey everyone, im leavin' to go to Cedar Point in about 30 minutes so I thought id see if anyone else knows about it or goes there. For those who don't know what it is, its one of the best amusement parks in the world, if not the best. I'm sure they have a website so just google and see for yourself, its just amazing. I'm going there for 5 days and we are going to be staying in the Presidential Suite in a hotel called Kalahari. I hope to have a lot of fun, but who knows...

So all my Midwest TB'ers out there, you guys ever been to Cedar Point? If so whats your favorite rides? See you guys Wensday!!!

I live 45 minutes away from Cedar Point, and I'd rather drive an ice pick into my eyeball, than go there. Kalahari is not actually at Cedar Point, but is an indoor water park in Sandusky Ohio, a few miles away. I took my kids there last winter. I'd also rather ingest earthworms, raw and bloody, than go there.

lol, cedar point has it's charms, though I lost my phone to the MAXX AIR ride there, so that turned out to be a very expensive ride to say the least. The lines are always long, the rides are fun but short, the food is expensive. I usually end up going once a year... though I live about 1 hr. away

If you like 300 pound chicks in spandex and belly shirts, you're going to the right place! If you like waiting in line 2 1/2 hrs for a 2 minute ride, you're going to the right place. If you like rude, obnoxious, pushy people, you're going to the right place. If you like to pay $9 for a cheeseburger, you're going to the right place.

... You're how old? I thought everyone knew about CP.

The dragster is crazy... half of the time, it doesn't make it over the hill and you go down backwards. They rev up the juice and you get a second try. You can also see the top 100 feet sway on windy days... scary stuff.

+1

thats my experience at CP :)

Cedar Point lost it's magic.

Instead of building actual roller coasters, they started building these stupid 30 second ultra blast "roller coasters" that don't even work half the time.

Still when it comes to the traditional coasters, they are the best amusement park in the world. All others have copied off Cedar Point. Those 6 flags are just Cedar point wannabes.
