Double Bass Chadwick Endpin

Anybody know what type of endpin is currently installed on the Chadwick Folding Bass? It looks like a thin Carbon Fiber rod, with an adjusting collar, as opposed to a screw. Just wondering if they are from Shen (the base bass for the CFB..heh, base bass), or if they're after market. Thanks. -Dk
