Double Bass change in volume ????

ok. i have just had a new adjustable bridge fitted to my bass. i have a k&k bass max pickup on the wing of the bridge. now whenever i play an open 'A' the volume is a lot more powerful than the rest of the notes on the bass. it 's fine on all the other notes on the 'a' string too just open 'A'
Any ideas or help
