Is there any way to convert a WMV or AVI to an MPG?? Just wondering, that's all.

TMPGEnc is one of the best freeware video converters, specially for creating VCD and DVD-compliant MPG files:

+1 for TMPGEnc, for freeware you won't get much better. I've used Canopus Procoder and Media Cleaner before, both of which are GREAT, but can be a bit costly.
