yes, don't just throw speakers in there and expect them to work.

+1 and, as a matter of fact, the better chance is that it WON'T work. That's a guitar cab, which was designed to house guitar spkrs. You want a bass cab, so look for one of those instead of wasting your money on this. I promise, it won't work out well. There is more than just the spkrs involved in the contruction of a bass cab, the box itself being a HUGE factor.
