my friend's band "South 85" just parted ways with their bass player. They are kind of an outlaw country band with a great female front person and a great female song writer.
They have a pretty steady gigging schedule (several slots opening for 'tater' in the near future) and are midway through with a recording project. They do play out of town fairly regularly - I think they go to Virginia, NC Mountains and SC Piedmont...
anyways, they are a great bunch of folks and I have enjoyed playing with them on several occassions.
