Charvel 3B Tone Problems

Hi all,

Any Charvel 3B owners. Have you found that the bridge pickup is almost unusably trebly? I realise this is a problem with there being a pickup selector rather than a blend, but I just cant get a tone I like without soloing the neck.

How do you guys set the tone on your basses?

I'm using it almost exclusively with both pickups on and both bass and treble on full. Sometimes I solo the P pickup but never the J.
