if it was me, I would pick the mutt if both are close in price. and there was a neck swap from the dot neck to that fin neck, so ya it is a mutt, but more important is it is a usa body and emgs, making it worth perhaps more?

there was a blue one on ebay not too long ago that sold for around 300, but it had the stock neck, bridge, pickups.

oh and I have plenty of 80's and 90's necks..the 80's ones are better feeling for me...YMMV.
