Chase Bliss Lost + Found... I'm in

Pretty cool sound design pedal. All those sounds could be used somewhere.
Right.

Its ease of use suggests that once you know how to operate one you could quickly dial up say two of its effects in parallel, tweak one's eq, blend to taste, mix back some unaffected signal, and apply some "glue" grit/compression.

All on the one device.

It's a genius adaptation of the standard Chase Bliss control arrangement. Hoping it works out in practice.

I think I'm in too! And a first Chase Bliss pedal that intrigues me!
Gotta move a thing or two before I can order by the end of the month.
I realize the wait times for delivery will probably go up to December (or even later), but that's fine.

This could be a cool final pedal in my chain that will act as a delay, reverb, synth, modulation and more.
If it works well for me, I'd probably want to add a small MIDI controller for presets/tap.

Hoping I acted early enough to have one before October.

This pedal might be the one that moves me to add a MIDI controller to my setup too.

While using two unsynced digital effects recently I recognized the value of the L+F switchable effect clock sync option.

I've been craving an end of chain multi-effect having reverb, delay, some compression, and stereo options.
But, also something occasionally cinematic and synth-y.
Similar usage to what I’m looking for. I’d replace my delay pedal at the end of the chain to gain more atmospheric effects - delays, reverbs, cinematic synths, modulation.

It’s a multieffect pedal, but to my my ears, it leans more into atmosphere and ambient textural side of things rather than conventional effects.

FYI I have been playing around with this one, and it is surprisingly easy to navigate for such a complex pedal. 5 parameters for each of the 12 modes (including the EQ knob and Compression)

I could also see MIDI unlocking a tone of flexibility with this one.

Probably one of the more useful CB Pedals that also has neat features.
For example, chorus and reverb are not pedals I get the chance to use a lot live (despite them being some of my favorites types.) Some CB pedals like the Onward, Lossy are super cool, but often have little "Practicality". Others like the Wombtome, Warped Vinyl are more practical, but are somewhat overkill for purely practical users.

I think this one has the best of both worlds.

I got my L&F the other day, and finally found time around newborn duties to plug it in and set it up.

To be honest, it didn’t really fill a “need”, I’m just an unapologetic Chase Bliss fanboy; my big regular board has a fair bit of their offerings.

This replaced a Boss CE-2w, which I still love, but the Ensemble Expander does a damn good job getting real close.

This pedal is exceptional though, the effects cover staples and some esoteric Chase Bliss bleep-bloop-YouTube-ambient standard sounds. The real winner here though is the combination of the blending and EQ on every effect. Taking the Bassy mud out of the reverbs, and blending your dry signal in is always a winner. Expanding that concept to mixing and matching the effects, balancing the ratios, and adjusting the EQ profile of each effect is really great.

Jealous. August 4 order date, so hopeful receipt within the next couple of weeks.

Any more thoughts on its sonics? Good noise floor?
I suppose I’m lucky, ordered the day of announcement in Australia, so it turned up pretty quick, all things considered.

The sounds are pretty good IMO, no discernible noise, apart from the Spectral Modulator, which amplifies the 60 cycle hum my Jazz Bass has, not the pedals fault for sure.

How is the tape delay compared to El Cap? I’d be replacing my delay (El Cap v2) with it at the end of the chain, if I like the tones of course.
It’s pretty good as a tape delay, it might be a bit too hard to dial it down to subtle, but it’s still very good. It’s also nice that when using tap tempo you can set independent sub divisions for each channel.

In a pinch, I could see me replacing my El Cap with bit, but the El Cap is one of my ride or die, desert island pedals.
