Chase Bliss Lost + Found... I'm in

...patience is a virtue, right?
I ran out of patience (ordered on 20th) so I cancelled my preorder yesterday lol.
BTW, they're still shipping day one orders (must have been a few thousand made on the first day).

Now I didn't cancel just due to wait time, but the videos that showcase it kind of made me realize it wouldn't really be a good fit for me.

Didn't EB put up some sort of order counter on their preorder page for one of the Joe Dart specials?

Chase Bliss should consider posting a "now serving" counter on their small batch site.
I'd emailed them for a status update and received a reply like, "orders are fulfilled in the order received." Looks like the delays caused at least one cancellation so far.

Probably more than one, but I'm just speculating.
I think it's a really neat pedal, and obviously attracted a lot of sales. I've never been into multieffects, but this one did grab me (for a while).
My personal want for this pedal started waning once Mike Hermans' demo dropped, where I thought the sounds were kind of meh, probably not that great for his style of playing, and it's impossible to cram all the possible sounds in a 20 minute video and make everything sound interesting while also moving knobs.
Wasn't much impressed with CB's "exploring combos" video either, nothing really sounded too interesting to me (to be fair, those were random pairings).

BachelorMachinesTV made a fantastic deep dive video for the left side of the pedal and I pretty much figured out, on a more technical level, why most of these algos wouldn't do much for me. He's yet to release part 2 video (right side effects). I'll definitely check it out. Watching this one from the side lines from now. :)

Now it's time to wrap my Analog brain around this :woot:

... and getting out now.

Instead of composing some sort of lengthy review, I'll sum up my experience like this: Requires too much attention, and often two hands, to dial in, and the effects are more suitable to synth, or maybe guitar.

Also, it upset my dog.

A conceptually ingenious pedal nonetheless.

--- hey there - do you still have the Lost + Found pedal for sale? I'd like to buy it. Thanks! - Chris Brokaw - [email protected]

Lost + Found B-Stock units are still available at Chase Bliss EU hub (40 units available right now). Sale is extended until Friday 11:59 PM.
I cancelled my preorder last August, but I grabbed one now. Couldn't resist to try it out for myself.

How is the pedal? I am thinking about picking one up on this current small batch sale.

It’s a really cool pedal that to me works best when you set it as an ambient style pedal (combinations work best to me when one side is set as a delay, reverb, swell etc). It can do really cool stuff that way but it can also do some standard fare modulation and digital pitch shifting. It can do some wacky CB bleep bloop stuff too.

I ended up selling mine just 2 days before the small batch release - and of course I felt seller’s remorse, plus I didn’t get to try the new resonator modes (firmware update) since the standard resonator mode did nothing for me on bass. So I’m waiting for the new black one now. I’ll say that the MIDI controller for presets at least feels like a must have. I would have kept my last one but I felt like I got all I needed ambient wise with my El Cap v2 but I’m giving it another go now.

Thanks for that great info. Seller's remorse is real. I've re-bought pedals before too.

I was always intimidated to try the CB stuff, but I recently picked up a Dark World and it handles the bass tones really well. I think I'm gonna have to go back to school to learn MIDI and grab one of these.
