Cheap/Free MIDI Sequencer

Hey all,

My band is about to be between drummers again so I would like to sequence drums for some/all of our songs, essentially so we can keep practicing while we search for a new drummer. I have a TD8 brain that I would use for the sounds, plan to MIDI control it from either my iMac or PC laptop (although the PC platform would be preferable since it is portable).

I want something where I can just quickly drop notes onto a drum staff, do some cut and paste, etc.

Also check on ebay, and you can pick up legit copies of Logic Express 7 for about $50 (the current version is 8 but the old version works fine, and if you want to upgrade it's cheaper than a new copy which is probably about $200).

Obviously they're both Mac only...
