Cheaper 5 string fretless....

Does anyone know of a company that makes one ? I play Rogue basses (cringes at the reaction). Can anyone suggest one ?

Douglas WEB 825, at Rondo Music. There's a fretless and a fretted version.

I have an Ibanez GWB35 fretless that I love. Got it as a restock or factory second so the price was very reasonable.

When I say "cheap" I mean $300 bucks or less. For what I do, I shouldn't spend much more !

Try Brice HXB-405 at Rondo Music, they are $349 I guess

You could always get something like a used 5-string Squier or another Rogue and defret it.

With care, it's not that difficult and the results are excellent!

BTW, there's no need to fell embarrassed about the Rogue. A friend at work uses one to record with and the results are amazing.
