Cheaper options than a MIA Fender P-bass 5 string

Hey folks,

I guess my pricepoint is about $500-$600.

If I could get anything, I'd get a USA Fender P-Bass 5 strings. I like the sound of a P-bass much better than jazz.

Any alternatives I should be looking at? I'd like something that sounds like the P-bass.
