A decent future three to four day paper to consider might be citing examples of plagiarism in the entertainment industry; whether music, television or film, which ended in a hefty legal judgement against the offenders. As well, examples of same-old/ same-old attempt to re-hash a successful idea that resulted in failure. A bit of a two-headed dragon there to raise their awareness that: A) Stealing IP has consequences, and B) There's nothing new under the sun without concerted effort to reinvent it.
Glad it all worked out to at least a bit past neutral. You got this. I gave no craps about HS in general and I managed to at least gain somewhat of a grasp on the language. I only got through the first semester of junior year English before I found I could still graduate without taking any more. Keep on keepin' on and you most definitely will get through to the ones that are actually teachable.
