I’m about to switch over to a pedaltrain board from the voodoo labs.

I wanted to show off my current setup before I re-wire it. I can get a lot of fun synthy sounds outta this rig!

Thank you! It’s a lotta pedals for most gigs, but I do get use out of them. The X-Blender is probably the cheapest pedal on there and the most useful. The multiple fuzz, octave, and filter choices are maybe extraneous. I find analog and digital octave to be almost 2 different effects though.

I’d love to see how y’all are running your boards for inspiration!

Rad! I really dig your gear! Killer pedalboard. I bet there’s some epic tonage coming out of the Boss OC+Envelope Filter

The mode switch on the Darkglass compressor looks so insanely dope I can’t even handle it! I also love that it has the gain reduction light-up VU type display.

I really miss not having that on my current compressor. So useful for finding the right compression to make everything even across techniques and EQs in a live setting. When I have that kind of visual feedback I tend to tweak it a lot for different songs, whereas without it I get a bit sheepish about adjustments especially without the time to really hear it.

I really love the MXR Bass Envelope Filter too! I bought one recently. It’s got such amazing friggin tone, but I needed the up/down sweep knob that the Proton has for certain synth parts I do.

The Bass Wah is pretty close to the sound of the MXR Envelope Filter I think so I really love using that! It’s also been fun to play with at the end of the chain with some other effects running.

I had a Source audio C4 but I just could not get into it so I sold it and got the MXR to replace it. The zoom lets me add effects without adding another box. I like the chorus and the Fuzz on it along with a few other effects.

I agree on the C4! It’s got some stuff that I can’t really get on any other pedal I have, but without MIDI control it’s a little limited and I just am too much of a technophobe to get into the editor app and make full use of it.

I’m thinking of swapping mine out for the BOSS SY-200
